Sweet and Southern Slow Cooker Ham

Ingredients

1 Bone-In Ham, fully cooked (about 5.5 pounds)
1 c. Apple Cider
1/2 c. Dark Brown Sugar
⅓ c. Kentucky Bourbon
¼ c. Honey
¼ c. Dijon Mustard
4 pinches Fresh Thyme

Cooking Directions

1.
Place the ham in a large slow cooker. Whisk the cider with brown sugar, bourbon, honey and mustard.
2.
Slowly pour over the ham, then scatter thyme into the slow cooker.
3.
Cook on HIGH for 4 hours or on LOW for 8 hours, until very tender.
4.
Remove ham to rest on a cutting board.
5.
Pass the remaining cooking liquid through a fine-mesh sieve into a saucepan.
6.
Simmer for 10 minutes or until slightly reduced.
7.
Cut the ham into chunks or slices.
8.
Brush the cut pieces with the cooking liquid before arranging on a platter.
